My mistake. It is 'proposed', not 'possible'.
But why open up the data room, unless EOC are potentially for sale (at a price)?
If a change of control is totally out of the question and EOC are 100% determined to become a producer, EOC can just say 'thanks, but no thanks'. But they didn't.
Negotiations might go nowhere. But EOC haven't closed the door. They would seem to have opened the door to further discussions...
