Repeat for Au by Aqua Regia digest and AAS - shouldn't take too long, IMO.  But as suggested, if there is a Au - Pd alloy, then that could be tricky.  This is getting intriguing now.  Not sure I am feeling miffed any more that they beat me into the halt.  Hope it is good regardless.

But a  phone call can answer these things.  The simple question that nearly always works is "do you think shareholders will be excited and rewarded by the results".  If there is an emphatic "yes!", then end of story.  If there is a "yes, but.....(insert qualifying explanation)"  then you know conversely.
