How much is it to upgrade typically per tonne?
If it is say $15/t to upgrade and if it takes two tonne of BC to make 1 tonne of BCE, then it would cost $84/t for BCE when the Newcastle coal price is $55/t which has less ash then Indian domestic coal.
No wonder Adani are pushing ahead in Qld and collaboration agreements for research upgrading Indian coal are hard to come by.
