This has memories of the tactic WTG successfully took to kitchen sink the accounts to give them a base that was impossible for anyone to short. It was the start of the turn around of WTG culminating in the launch of Hubio.

For me, it shows the BOD are acting to save the companyand turn it's recent fortunes around.
The sp is priced for failure but is it taking into account the BOD are now demstrating action.
imho However temporarily painful, this has to be eventually good news.
