I had a quick look at say the returns on an NASDAQ fund in the US from 2007 to 2017. It went from 100 to 200, so that investor would have doubled his money.
The QIN US investor went from 40K to 200K so he made 5 times return.
I would say he did a lot better than investing in an ETF in the US
