Hi JPS
No the certification is regarding the autoclave as a pressure vessel to Aust Standards and checking it is built as by ASME. All presure vessels in Aust must be certified before use and as a statutory requirement are rechecked and certfied at a 2 yrly interval. This check is carried out to coincede with a major shutdown with a external and internal inspection is carried out and nucleonic xrays on welds are examined for minute cracks or fissures which would denote a weak spot requiring repair.
Also there wil be a small boiler associated with the demo plant that the certification will be checked and also a person to operate must also have completed and possess a current Boiler Attendants Ticket.
