I asked the echinda on twitter why he failed to raise his concerns with the company directly or taken it up with Asic if he felt compelled as there was nothing to be gained by publishing his 'opinion piece' into a public forum when he could have had his concerns addressed had he given the company the opportunity to respond.
Echinda responded that he felt that he shouldn't have to contact the company to understand the business.
In my opinion it would have given his research some credibility had he taken the time to ask the company for a response.
As i mentioned to him last week, by taking the approach that he did, readers could reach the conclusion that he has something of an ulterior motive.
