Whatever the reason for this prolonged silence is, it must be significant. The ownership of some of these tenements is murky, and corruption is rife in Serbia so my gut instinct is that they have lost the Stara Planina license (i.e. it hasn't been renewed by the government).
Zijin are expanding big time in Serbia (with thier acquisition of both the Bor copper complex from the government and Nevsun Resources for a total of 2.6 Billion dollars) so it's pretty clear who will be running the mining industry in Serbia in the near term.
