What can S/H do?? Ur taking the piss?? While we invest we are trapped as large S/H generally bind together to look after their own interest!good grief that’s all we need another tamper novice!!
Hi prosperman. In short, no, I am not taking the piss. There are many examples of companies out there who have a strong respected base of shareholders which, in itself can be attractive to future investors. My investment style is one where I seek out companies with strong inherent values that they live to, and shareholders can definitely assist in contributing to this. In the current market of royal commissions into banks and the wider financial sector, I might offer that there are many investors who might consider a value-centric corporate strategy can be just as important as an aggressive revenue generating model. Will be interesting to see if the original person I through the question to has some ideas, or anyone else.
As for your ramping comment, I have stated in another post about responsibilities and accountabilities. While I believe support is important from a shareholder base, this doesn't mean they cannot challenge the company on what they are accountable for.

That's interesting. Has been monitoring the ECT thread for many years but never posted until this week. His profile on the other hand suggests otherwise.
Thanks SP3, I am not surprised you have noticed this but HC Trader has provided the fairly simple answer. I never felt the need to join if I wasn't going to post. I appreciate your skepticism, but the inference that my newly created account may be suspicious, but I suppose that is the risk of anyone's account. I trust that over time trust can be developed that I am a newly contributing member, although I am sure there will always be skeptics. I note that since my first post I have seen many names come up in my notifications (which I never knew existed until I posted) that I have never seen post... I imagine there are similarly others like my former self who never have had a profile yet may be reading this right now.

You will be very popular here oh mysterious one
Thank you for commenting maddogjim. It hasn't been a change in stance, as noted in my first post it is more related to what I believe is one of the most significant times in the company’s history, as well as me previously thinking I could not add more to discussions than already being contributed. With the recent actions of the company, as well as the activity I mentioned in my other post that seems to be a sign that the company is now ready to present itself more visibly to the market. I believe shareholders can help the discourse around the company, as well as the reputation we have as a shareholder base.

I think that is a very objective and informed post- unlike many here.
Most interesting is the last point, a direction for future threads.
Well done
Thanks HGIQ. Perhaps a new thread topic may be worthy.
