Government doesn't want to be seen ahh someone died ahhh accidents happen just carry on with business as usual, it wants to be seen that it's doing something about this man's death and that the government is looking after its citizens. Suggesting that mine would be closed for weeks is very overboard and ludicrous. Some people just get too excited and say silly things, go release yourself might help you think clearly whoever said that.
