the initial trading halt duration would have been requested by CDX, they failed to release the information in time which means they needed to voluntarily suspend trading. See below quote.
"If for any reason the entity is not in a position to make such an announcement before the expiry of the trading halt,
the entity should contact ASX to discuss how the situation should be handled. Sometimes this may involve the
entity making an announcement updating the market on the current state of affairs before the trading halt has
expired and trading in its securities then recommencing after the announcement has been made. Other times, it
may be appropriate for the entity to ask for a voluntary suspension under Listing Rule 17.2 (see below) to allow
more time for the situation to unfold."
This could be a number of reasons.
1. The information CDX had prepared for the ANN was deemed incorrect or inaccurate by a third party, in this case MOBVOY could have reviewed the ANN and disputed claims for better or worse.
2. The ANN content has developed further and is worth noting so they need time to prepare updated and detailed market release.
3. A rights dispute, legal filings or discovery of someone else with a patent for their sensor... this would not be good.
the list goes on and on however the suspension is a tool available to CDX and it's there for a reason.
Holders should not worry at this stage
