I have never been a fan of news coming out on a Friday after the market has closed.
If they have something positive to announce, it should be done during trading hours to light a spark of activity and excitement, imo.
Post-market on a Friday tends (in my experience) to be akin to trying to sweep dust under the carpet so it won't be remembered on Monday.

Of course there are many exceptions such as ANP yesterday - news released at 5pm and sparked a 50%+ rise today. No intention to cross-promote, just pointing out an example which is on the positive side of post-market news.

IF CGB don't make an announcement today, ASIC/ASX should be pounding on their door to find out what's going on.
