I suspect it will be a few weeks in suspension as otherwise they could have just extended the trading halt lifting date by a day or two or even a week which is ok. I imagine they asked ASX to extend trading halt until acquisition announcement ready to be made, but the ASX said it will need suspending if indefinite delay - it could be next week or next month
