"few" - a small/sort word, but with large implications.

A little while ago I posted some thoughts about the subtexual use of another short 3-letter word - "yet" - in announcements like "Company XYZ hasn't paid yet " and the massive significance when that little word is removed from related future announcements.

Well ... .. here's another little word. Usually "few" means "not that many", etc BUT in todays' announcement it takes on another connotation ... "What do you mean - a "few" ?!! in this instance "few" connotes "quite a lot", at least a lot more than we'd like !!
