Am I right in saying we don’t know what date the investigation was started?
I find it an odd coincidence that in the supplementary 4D disclosure Ann and prior to that in the half yearly results and outlook Ann (NB at the bottom) it states due to circumstances beyond the control of KPMG and PET the audit could not be completed and lodged. Does this mean they have known about the irregularities for nearly four weeks?
There is a section in the supplemental 4D disclosure that reads....
’PET will immediately make a further announcement to the market if it becomes aware that there will be a material difference between its unaudited / unreviewed half year accounts and its audited / reviewed half year accounts.’
