Sorry for the silly question but why did VUL put a voluntary suspension in place rather than extending the existing trading halt or placing another trading halt. Way I see it, trading halt allows people to still place and see buys and sells offers. Suspension blocks all of this. Does suspension also cancel all existing buy and sell orders in place prior to the suspension or are they just hidden from view?
