Why would they halt the trading so early in the first place? I’m guessing it’s big news. If they have the discretion to suspend trading 2 weeks early, they also have the discretion to make the announcement whenever they wish, unless obligated by the ASX otherwise. They also need sufficient time to provide an accurate timeline and ensure their listing and legal obligations are met
