Honestly, wiping the book clean was the best thing. All the people that had put in bids to buy will be straight back when it opens. But not all the people who had bids on the sell will be. A lot of people probably don't check stuff as often as we do and don't have their finger on the pulse. I would imagine a lot of those sell bids have been sitting there a while from such people. This happened to another stock of mine and it ran hard when trading resumed simply because the sell side was so incredibly thin.
