there is another alternative here .....perhaps they have managed to acquire the dept of defence lease over the area . It would probably fall within the mathematics of a capital raising . It would simplify things for both the company and DOF.
Any royalty arrangements are due to state coffers not DOF and are not really exorbitant anyway ,so it’s not worth anything long term and tenure arrangements now would in fact be the responsibility of the lease holder I believe. The site is hardly strategic .
it makes sense given this appears to be a cash offer and not script .
this would be another great outcome .
