For sure Zinjin is 24% owned by Chinese Government but when into public they sold 76% when it IPO'd
This saga is not at a level that China government would be interested in nor Australian Government, both have bigger issues to solve.
If Zinjin did approached the Chinese government, they will likely be told to pull their head in or CATH would have pulled the funding.... And they have not
