Hi TT
whilst i believe that most of you post are pure gold, and what you have done on behalf of us all is 'George Cross' material, i think however you have missed the mark on your last one.
I believe that the platform/business model Pizza are developing is something else entirely. And this makes sense.
I have read recently - i apologise but i should have saved the source, but this platform is a direct diagnoses / treatment (ie pills) - without GP intervention.... for a number of condition, Respiratory ailments being one of them
Effectively it works like this - FDA approved diagnosis mechanism (ie RAP) - best effective diagnosis and treatment for ailment - Pizza - auto script generation - direct to Pizza controlled outlets. Lots of coloured pills sold in many shapes...very likely the best ones for the more accurate RAP diagnosis
Seems like a win win for Pizza, and to be honest it sounds like a very good project , win win for all, except for the newly redundant GPs (mind you they have a good run ripping off the state - whichever country - for years) - how much money is wasted on poor diagnosis, poor medication.
As i posted a month or so back - this - in my belief as to Pizza's strategy. All successful business plans involve cutting out the middle man and trimming the fat.
And what is completely remarkable - if indeed this is Pizza's plan, it is completely ethical, (WTF) , completely viable, better targeted and accurate, and a far better 'patient friendly' system than what we have at present.
So - biggest question of all.........If RAP have the most simple - sophisticated - uncomplicated diagnostic tool for respiratory conditions, and the potential for massive value adds, has not one of the other players considered this model?
Of course, if Pizza people have not considered this scenario, then i am happy to assist. But last time i danced with devil my misses nearly cut my balls off...
