I can’t see any downside. GMD is extremely well capitalised and is in the process of devouring distressed assets (SBM and DCN) for way cheaper than they should be. The way GMD structured the performance rights for directors is indicative of where price is going, $2 is a sure thing in my mind. Given gold price has just gone turbo I wouldn’t be surprised if GMD goes on massive run. They are just in too much of a powerful position with the right leader.
