Obviously something has happened between Fred and the rest of the board. Its unusual for resignation to be effective immediately, especially knowing that such a decision would be in breech of ASX listing requirements. Maybe Fred was sick of being handcuffed on selling his shares. I have seen this happen at other companies.
We may never know what has occurred but finding another Australian director that comes with similar credentials as the remainder of the board will take a bit of time. I don't believe that Coby and Dadi will simply replace Fred with just anybody in order to reinstate trading.
FWIW, I would like to see an independent director with experience in accounting and auditing included on the board as the company moves towards commercialization. Someone who has experience in driving revenues in a blue chip space.
