Yeah most likely reading too much into it hahaha I'm just musing (killing time this morning now that I have plenty no thanks to this delay)
It's just hard to imagine, the Board thinking "whoops I didn't know about public holiday in US so guess best to voluntarily suspend rather than be forced by ASX"
They could've asked for a second halt. They could've even halted one day earlier, or released information on Friday. It's also possible to release the information this morning, given they've had all weekend to prepare and Wall St is open in the morning.
Anyway, everyone does it for sure. I'm just musing what I used to do myself but speculating EUR's reason why. Personally, I just don't think it's because of America's Independence Day... but they need a good reason to delay such a price sensitive information to market.
It's a nice topic for discussion because ASX needs improvements in my opinion. So many loopholes.
