Yeah, I know how you feel.
You don't request a 24 hour extension a). if you are walking away from a deal b). are playing hardball for a better deal.
It sounds to me like they needed a little extra time to dot the i's and cross the t's.
But it's always fun to speculate.
Hoping for 25 cents at least.
