I 100% agree with you @potgut I think it was halted to stop any further SP creep due to leaked information.
Obviously the people involved with the acquisition lawyers and consultants etc would have been privvy to something happening much sooner than us, and to be in the late stages of an acquisition it would have been ongoing for longer than this week for sure...
Fingers and toes crossed for something that really excites. It'd be nice to be back up and going tomorrow. I have 8 stocks in my portfolio that I have a fair interest in, and 4 of those were halted for one reason or another today. It was a boring day of a whole lotta nothing going on.
