Just when you think things can't get worse ... they might be sunk because Alco was insuring them and now they can't get insurance.

Go figure!

First the credit-crunch / financing issues combined with falling property values, then controlling companies going into receivership, now this! Who broke the mirror? (although I don't think there will 7 years in it for that much bad luck ... it was all compressed into a shorter timespan)

Well, my $5K that turned into $44 (less brokerage if I were to sell) might not end up being beer money after all!
