I believe CQU management have completely missed the plot and I have no confidence in them since they (first) announced there would "definitely" be a dividend, then a few weeks later announcing their accounts and no dividend. To me this was just a ploy to shore up the sp. If I were a cynic, I would have to conclude that their original comments were outright lie. I supported CQU management up to the time they announced that no dividend would be made, but I can't anymore.

Also, with hindsight, CQU should not have purchased any further businesses (from about March or April last year) and instead, consolidated their position. Instead they kept on their buying spree and "spending ways" while everyone else was being somewhat more cautious. I tend to wonder now at the experience and wisdom of the CEO and CQU board, as it is obvious they are just "young guns", with huge plans (and probably huge ego's) and no real business acumen.

Am holding for a miracle, but not my breath.
