I think it matters more what the Mali government thinks than what you think.

The lithium was peeled off and then 6 days later the gold operation is skunked and FFX wants to walk away without paying closing costs.

In your opinion it is in the past and a non issue, but I think mali government has a different opinion and probably feel aggrieved hence their recent tough stance on LLL issues.
