I dont think it makes sense to do sea grapes as a material JV because they already have sea grapes operations that they are trying to ramp up to full production if I am not wrong? The conversations I had with the companies mentioned that sea grapes are in the process of expanding to full production because I posed the question how come the revenue just matches the cost or just a small loss. That is the case usually when a business starts out an operation.
To me the material jv would probably be hemp. What worries me is the mc is so low and what the structure will look like, whether its shares and cash or just straight cash. I wished they did it when the sp was a lot higher. I guess Paul Rosen's options, a lot of them have higher exercise price. Lets see what takes hold when they come out.
I also wonder if they do sign the deal with the chinese for hemp, would chinese money follow which could really give the sp a nice boost.
