A rulign from the ATO describing how to calculate the cost base of falcon and chalice shares.?
The interesting point in that ruling is the demerged shares are deemed to have the same acquisition as where it came from.
Will we see something similar??? PErhaps the ATO will do this in order to calculate demerger and ADN shares. ALthough I think we can work it out in out head easy enough, but lets see.
