No not happy with the announcement. I have been a RIM investpr (Yes..in/out at times) and was introduced by one of the foundation Melbourne shareholders of which there were several "friends" who all went in with initial GM.
The face of RIM has changed dramatically since then and so has the Shareholder split. I basically do not know the Company these days but they always seem to get their Capital Raisings across the line.
As mentioned before I brought myself up to date on who/what GPR were when they came in and some of those press and ASIC notes about various associates were not nice reading.
But still GPR so far have pumped in the money...I am still in but well underwater.
