No whilst in suspension you cannot trade on the ASX (ie publicly through commsec as an example) however, you can still trade off market if you found someone who wants your bags as such..
Yes your brokerage account will still hold the shares in your name/entity (chess sponsored at least)..
I wouldn’t expect to be contacted by anyone, any further info will still need to meet continuous disclosure obligations as the company has not been delisted from the ASX just suspended from official quotation..
As for the listing rule 12.1 it’s not that the company isn’t doing anything or reporting operations successfully as such …. In a very basic nutshell, the company divested itself of its primary business activity last year and the ASX gave it six months to find another activity to carry on in order to be compliant with several listing rules or it would be suspended..
