Doubt there's any fraud. There's been ~1 million buyers to ~300k sell for a while now when the price was hovering around 18c and this stock has been undervalued (imo) for a long time now. Very low volume means big jumps when they do happen. My guess is the update was the catalyst to get a few of those buyers to jump in.

As for the 15 quarters of growth. I don't think this is the reason for the update and trading halt. There was a similar situation last quarter when Jay was interviewed at an investors presentation before the last QR and said they had achieved another quarter of revenue growth and nothing happened then.
