If this is just limited to Montney, my thought process would be they have struck an acceptable (solid) price and need time to get a rig onsite to undertake their own testing and assessment of the established infrastructure. Will assist in validating capital input and future output volumes/ total resource.

Simply put, I see it as an indication of offering a good price that requires a level of de-risking from the purchases perspective, plus a sellers numbers are always optimistic.

With that, it also offers an opportunity for them to come in with a haircut near the end of DD.
