The DSO letter to LLL is part of this new tougher approach. We will know more detail regarding this shortly.
The new Mines Minister is a smart man being an Academic and hopefully sees that a healthy balance is necessary to encourage further exploration and mining.
Even if its a 'live with' deal Mali needs to be careful about deterring existing Mali miners from re investing some of the profits in Mali.
Its early days but there may well be plenty more Lithium in Mali waiting to be discovered as there was with gold. Its possible that Goulamina is just the tip of the Mali Lithium iceberg.

Important to note they are discussing that possibility regarding NEW projects, not existing ones like Goulamina.

These threads have IMO turned into an absurd game of Chinese whispers. Started off as factual release about a letter on DSO from the government and has descended into one garbage take after another on all kinds of nonsense and irrational fearmongering based on conflating the actual events.
