In the background is the US imperative of finding alternative sources of Tungsten by 2026. We would be talking well in excess of 10K ts/yr. consumption.
Not many Western tungsten mines (coming into) in production capable of supplying that sort of extra tonnage. As we know, it takes years to (re)develop a mine to (reliable) production. The US only has a couple of years to find that sort of new supply level.
Given the right sort of (early) investment, I'm sure EQR could step up to the plate...
