Very interesting, the EM plate would have only been modelled in 2-D, so the drill bit would be required to actually see what is below this. The plate or the top of the conductor was modelled as 100sq/m, so around the size of a house unit.
The conductor sits below the previously drilled conductor H which hit 6m at 2% nickel and copper.
If the lower conductor is in fact an ore body then Conductor H would be probably part of the same system.
The current hole 23WKDD001 was designed to drill around 150m past the top of the Conductor for DHEM purposes. It's possible that if mineralisation was intersected through out the hole Bux/IGO could have agreed to extend the hole even further. Hence a hold up in results may be due to logging/sampling and XRF analysis for reporting with an ASX announcement.
Here's hoping anyway that the above is the reason why.
One thing is for certain drilling activity will ramp up by IGO if they believe they are onto economic deposit/s in the area, exciting times ahead.
