Here again is the current status of the EU CRMA.
EU legislation works as follows.
The EU Commission drafts a bill, the European Parliament and the European Council, both bodies have equal decision-making powers, vote on the bill with the help of specialized committees.
If both bodies make a positive decision, the draftthe draft law becomes law.
The law is then put into a legally clear version and published in the EU Journal.
This entire process takes an average of 19 months.
On Dec. 14, 2023, the EU Parliament was the last body to approve the CRMA.
All that is happening now is bureaucracy and its implementation.
