Hi all. Ive been quiet on here for a while as in recent times I think a lot of the forum has gone to the shitter. The education in the use of phosphate for cropping will be dead simple. The most effective use is up front application before or at seeding. There is no need for split application which takes out the need for plant stage assessment education for maximum benefit. Urea use in highly leaching, high rainfall environments can be a bit trickier needing more training in application for maximum benefit. If I was an agronomist teaching these blokes I would say throw on the phosphate rock, sow a legume in yrar 1, year 2 sow a cereal and reap the benefits of slow release P rock and residual N from previous crop. Phosphate use is a no brainer
