Just to add to the post above, my thoughts are if they were making the mass market chipset with realtek, they would never be in the position they are in at the moment, there would be no lack of funding for a full scale mass produced chipset by Nuheara and realtek mate, it would be the exact opposite and be massively over subscribed.
