the assumption being
an indirect msg would be like i spoke to someone who spoke to management and management said
direct would be i spoke to management and management said xx
take it with a grain of salt.
if you look at it in context it would seem to affirm the position that either gear or hebang will take over the convertible note on commercial terms.
this to me would be positive as they are implying value in the company strategy
