Honestly I think Mt Thirsty was a mistake for GSR to begin with. Everything was on the right trajectory with gold before the JV kicked off again. Then a heap of raised money was thrown at it poking more holes in swiss cheese eventuating to F*** all. Something tells me CNJ needed the pump as the result more than GSR did. Either way, a lot of money was raised by both while share price was peaking along with a lot of dilution. Directors got their performance rights and bonuses as a result.

To be clear - I'm sure there was good intentions for both them selves and share holders, however the risk of Mt Thirsty again in such a time was very miscalculated.
