If the enviro study is only 90 days yep agreed that's most likely nothing burger in the grand scheme, esp with the road announcement too. No need for a road to nowhere now is there... I still think the practical and likely outcome is that the other producers will be nudged towards the same processing pathway and downstream processing in a less water restricted location. Yeh the GLN specific halt is peculiar, could be something different entirely, or as GLN is the only one in a murky zone not producing actual output there's a 90 day halt to construction or something that's more impactful for GLN (amusingly that might help GLN's cash conservation and if Glencore is ready to go once the 90 day study is concluded positively that would be better than the current cash burn. Happy accident? Guesswork is fun but shall find out soon, uhm or not if there's another extension I guess >.<.
