IMO usually it is auditor issues and going concern issues or refusal of Dir to sign off due to risk in regards to possible action or insolvency. . Related companies IMO would complicate that position especially in regards to valuations of cross holdings and ability to repay loan or guarantees etc. In regards to property it doesn't matter what a offer is or conditions if reasonable what matters is when / if it is due for settlement and when it settles. Most if not all contracts , agreements all have natural disaster clauses etc.
Never been good communications from this company
Delays and suspensions have also been used on ASX to keep a share price or last sale price artificially high by preventing trading by not lodging reports if they are trying to recapitalise or stay above a covenant etc
