Not saying this will happen, but i wouldn't put anything past PH. Typically the Board, Directors & CEO will run the share price down so that they get the shares as cheap as possible and then:
The company will make a buyout offer to its shareholders. This offer usually comes at a premium to the current market price to incentivise shareholders to sell their shares.Conversion to Private Shares: In some cases, shareholders might have the option to convert their shares into private shares, though this is less common.
Trading Suspension: The shares will usually be suspended from trading on the ASX once the de-listing process begins, which means investors can't buy or sell their shares on the exchange anymore.
Final Settlement: After the buyout process, any remaining shares will either be bought out at the agreed price or converted as stipulated by the company's privatization plan.
Tax Implications: Investors should consider potential tax implications from the sale of their shares, especially if they receive a cash payout (Tax loss).
Then Hopper and his cronies run off into the sunset with the IP, Approvals and future sales having had the development paid for by retail investors!
Just a possible scenario, DYOR.
