Has anyone else received a reply as yet from Phil?
He might be distracted at the moment but I would hope for a reply or a formal ASX announcement to the market explaining the 'real' situation with the Capital Return. Does he think he can hide behind his desk forever, the truth comes out eventually.
My current guess is that the ATO will not approve the capital return, or it is being delayed to keep the money within the company to make it more appealing for a takeover or merger etc.
It simply does not make sense it would take this long with the ATO and for the company not to provide shareholders with a reason for the delay. They need to keep us up to date as part of their continuous disclosure obligations.
Interesting timing for the Director Resignation, does not look good for the oil well and/or the future of the company, if people are suddenly leaving.
