As at the end of December 2023, Gerard Eakin held a mere 1.8m shares in YPB. He held no share options, had 800k of performance rights so there is no way the 52m shares unloaded this morning are his.
While it might be just a coincidence and the 52m dump this morning was from a number of sellers, apart from Dolphin (the 'ATM' provider) and Martin Ross, most other shareholders in the top 20 have holdings less than 10m so it points to one thing- JH is doing the sell off.
The only person or entities with 52m shares to dump on the market is JH through his entities. His Bimm Corporation as at the end of December 2023 held a bit over 52m shares but that has increased during 2024 with loan repayments, swapping debt for equity CNI and other funding arrangements orchestrated by JH. In fact JH and his entities as of yesterday held about 1.65 billion shares.
