We have all these corporate laws, rules and regulations on the ASX (and so called "policed" by ASIC), concerning financial disclosure, IPO's, credit raisings etc etc supposedly in the interests of transparency and to "protect shareholders"? (on the one hand) and have pretty much had none of those rules and regulations on cryptocurrency at all (on the other hand). So what is the point of all these rules? (Including mission statements, ESG and BOD governance etc) ... that is why are they there? - if this is an example of a possible final outcome after 10-15 years?
One "prospect" very much legitimate, "real", valuable to mankind and arguably very much should have made money for the people who truly "believed" and the other "prospect" with pretty much no human/financial 3rd parties/brokers/BOD's/ regulations or interference at all to execute on that "prospect" and the very reverse happened...
Entirely different prospects (sure)... of course...
Maybe I will be around another 15 years to find out the eventual outcome? I hope so as clearly in a (normal) investment world, where one would think financial rewards should be granted to those who risk capital into real, tangible products and services (that one day might earn a return on that investment) should be far more likely, and would far outweigh those where risk is invested into assets in which that will never likely happen...
But hey ..go figure! Maybe we are really all living in an alternative universe!
