100% agree... with the caveat that it's no joke for the poor sods caught in it. Every cap raise and debt facility is like theft and the sad irony is that there are people who think a cheap share price offers a good entry point, from which it can only go up.
That's the reason I can't stand up-rampers who hide behind their optimism when they write how great the company is. They seem to think that optimism is good, so anything other than a positive view must be bad. The kind of people who, if they were the Titanic's builder, would have told the captain: "Just a scratch, not a problem". I prefer the kind who say: "We're going to sink. Get out while you can", and don't see that as negativity.
